The JV Vikings boys basketball team defeated Circleville at home. The VIkings jumped out to a 12 - 2 1st period lead on the strength of their inside game. The Viking lead 17 - 10 at half before outscoring the Tigers 20 - 9 in the second half. Scoring for the Vikings: Kyle Barnett and Seth Anderson each had 11, Cody Redman and NAte Noltemeyer each chipped in 5, Alan Thurmond and Wess Call each had 2 and Robbie McKinney add 1. The Vikings take on Westfall tomorrow night.

The JV Boys had a tough time scoring in the 2nd and 4th periods in a 34 - 28 loss to Logan Elm. The Vikings jumped out to a 12 - 6 first period lead only to see LE outscore the Vikings 11 - 4 in the second period to take a 17 - 16 halftime lead. In the third period the Vikings outscored the Braves 10 - 6 and took a slim 3 point lead into the 4th. In the 4th the Braves outscored the Vikings 11 - 2 to secure the win. Scoring for the Vikings: Cody Redman and Kyle Barnett each had 9, Garrett Gilliland and Seth Anderson each added 5. The Vikings travel to Amanda on Saturday.

The JV boys basketball team Jumped out to a 21 - 12 halftime lead and cruised by Hamilton in a MSL win. Scoring for the Vikings: Cody Redman had 16, Seth Anderson added 15, Kyle Barnett had 6, Nate Noltemeyer added 5, Alan Thurmond and Wess Call each had 2. The Vikings host Logan Elm on Tuesday.
