The Teays Valley Middle School Girls Cross Country teams competed at their own invitational this weekend and put forth a great effort.  Teays Valley East finished 3rd overall and were paced by Lora Overholt's first place overall finish.

The Teays Valley Girls Middle School Teams participated in the McGowan Invational hosted by Watkins Memorial and put forth a good effort against some very good competition.  Teays Valley East was paced by Lora Overholt's second place finish with a personal best time of 12:47.

The Teays Valley Girls Middle School runners were all able to turn in season best performances at the Kiwanis Circleville Invitational held at Ohio Christian University.  Teays Valley East Middle School finished 4th out of 15 teams.

Teays Valley East and West Middle Schools began their season at the Newark Catholic Invitational.  Teays Valley East Middle School placed 4th out of 9 schools.  Leading the way for Teays Valley East was Lora Overholt with a 1st place overall finish and Karina Overholt with a 6th place overall finish.

The Teays Valley Middle School Girls Cross Country Teams ran their best race of the season Saturday at Jonathon Alder.  Pacing the way for the Vikings was Makayla Buskirk with a 19th place finish in a time of 14:30.  Also running personal best times for the Vikings: Katie Glover, Kaycee Blum, Paiton Taylor, Amy Karchinick, Jana Whittredge and Debbie Beane.

The Viking Girls Cross Country ran in a huge race at Pickerington North High School last weekend.  Leading the way for the Vikings was Makayla Buskirk and Paiton Taylor.  Also running a personal best time was Kaycee Blum.

The Teays Valley Middle School Girls Cross County team finished third in the County meet at Hargus Lake.  Pacing the way for the Vikings was Makayla Buskirk and Paiton Taylor.

The Teays Valley Girls Jr. High Cross Country Team ran their best race as a team this season at the George Rogers Clark CC Invitational hosted by Catholic Central High School in Springfield.  Running personal best times for the Vikings were: Makayla Buskirk, Amy Karchinick, Emily Gilmore, Jana Whittredge, and Debbie Beane.
