Lady Vikings had a good showing at the Cole McCafferty meet at Amanda on friday scoring 40 points good enough for eighth place, there we're 12 teams competing ,Morgan Crecelius placed 2nd in the shot put with a throw of 33'6",numerous girls also scored points for the vikings.Next meet at Hamilton on tuesday.

Despite the thunderstorm forecast, state choir contest and a very strong competition field, the Lady Vikings finished a strong 3rd place at the Ashville Kiwanis Invitational behind only Amanda Clearcreek and Fairfield Union. Jennifer Adkins won the high jump and finished 3rd with a season best 28.5 in the 200 meter dash. Amanda Porter continues here success streak with an impressive victory in the 3200. Miranda Wilkins beat out a very tough Amanda Clearcreek athlete by .2 seconds in the 400 meter dash to claim the win and post her season best. Whitney Ramsay and Morgan Crecelius combined for second place in the long jump with first place a mere 1.5 inches. Congratulations to all the Lady Vikings on a great meet

The Lady Vikings performed very well at the Pickaway County meet, coming in second place behind Circleville. Seniors Kaitie Perill and Amanda Porter entered the evening with County best times in their individual events, and left the evening victorious. Porter won the 1600 and the 3200 and Perill won the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles. Other first place finishers, Jennifer Adkins in the high jump (4'10), and the 4 x 100 meter relays team with a season best time of 53.7 seconds.

The Lady Vikings took 6th place out of 7 teams at the 42nd annual Fulton Relays. A vary impressive Lancaster team won the meet with 123 points followed by Thomas Worthington at 95 points. Morgan Cercelius and Terra Call combined jumps for a 2nd place finish and the Distance Medley Relay of Madison Lamoreaux, Jennifer Strassal, Ashia Martin, and Amanda Porter placed fourth.

The Lady Vikings took home the 3rd place trophy from the Fairfield Union Falcon Invitational, beating out 11 teams. Sheridan High School won the meet with 101.5 points and Fisher Catholic High School took second place with 80.50 points. Senior Kaitie Perill won the 100 meter hurdles with a near record setting time of 14.75 in the prelims and another outstanding in the finals of 14.91 seconds. Fellow senior Amanda Porter was victorious in the 1600 meter run (5:50.00) and in the 3200 meter run (12:37.20).

The girls track team finished as the runner-up at the Hamilton Township Booster Invitational. The Lady Vikings were defeated only by Northland High School. Amanda Porter won the 1600 meter run by nearly 25 seconds and took second place in the 800 meters. The only other event winner was Jaimie Cavinee in the pole vault with a vault of 7'6".
