02.14.04 Freshman Tournament: Teays Valley 28 Logan Elm 36.  The Vikings lost to Logan Elm 36-28. Seven out of the ten players scored for the Vikings. Leading the way for the Vikes was Kelsey Tosca with 8 pts., Heather Strassel with 6 pts., Casey Passen with 5 pts.,  Abby Leatherwood with 4 pts., Brittany Emerine and Brook Helser each had 2 pts, and Ashley Moore added 1. 02.12.04 Frosh: Teays Valley 29 Canal Winchester 32.  The Vikings lost another close one to Canal Winchester. 02.09.04 Frosh: Teays Valley 25 Miami Trace 37.  The Vikings fought hard to get back into the game against Miami Trace. Scoring for the Vikings were Abby Leatherwood with 8pts., Casey Passen with 5pts., Kelsey Tosca and Heather Strassel each had 4pts., and Ashley Moore and Jenny Barr both had 2pts. - Report by Kim Brockway

02.07.04 JV: Teays Valley 48 Canal Winchester 40.  Keri Callihan 23 pts, Becky Corbitt 6 pts, Katy Gunther 6 pts, Adrian Helser 6 pts, Michelle Allen 5 pts, Jordyn Althaus 2 pts. 02.07.04 8th: On Saturday, February 7th, the Teays Valley Eighth Grade Girls  Basketball Team opened MSL tournament play with a 30-21 victory over  Hamilton Township. It was the fourth straight win for the Lady Vikings and brought their overall record to 8-7. Leading the Vikings in scoring were Tiffany Burkhardt with 12 points, Jessica VonIns with 9 points, Kayla Brady with 5 points, and Allison Mays and Meghan Schiff with two points each. - Report by Joe Lombardo.

02.04.04 8th: On Wednesday, the Vikings defeated Hamilton Township 29-27. Scoring for the Vikings were Tiffany Harmon with 9 points, Allison Mays 7 points,  Jessica VonIns 5 points, Kayla Brady 4 points, and Ashley Roese and Kayla Galloway with 2 points each.  The Lady Vikings finished their season with a 7-7 record. - Report by Joe Lombardo.

01.15.04 8th: The Teays Valley Eighth Grade Girls Basketball Team upped their record  to 4-6 on Thursday, January 15th by defeating Fairfield Union 32-23. Leading the Vikings in scoring was Jessica VonIns with 13 points. Also scoring for the Vikes were Allison Mays with 5 points, Kristen Burkhardt with 4, Tiffany Harmon with 4, Kayla Brady with 3, Kayla Galloway with 2, and Ashley Roese with 1.  Earlier this week the Vikings traveled to Amanda where they were defeated by a score of 28-20. Scoring for the Vikings were Kayla Brady with 7, Jessica VonIns with 4, Tiffany Harmon with 3, and Heather Welsh, Ashley Roese, and Allison Mays with 2 points each.  On January 8th, the Vikings were defeated by Canal Winchester  33-15. Scoring for the Vikings were Ashley Roese 4, Laura Landis 3, Kayla Brady , Meghan Schiff, and Jessie VonIns with 2 each, and Stephanie Lindeman with 1. - Report by Joe Lombardo.

01.12.04 Frosh: Teays Valley 21 Bexley 22.  The Girls lost another close one to Bexley 21-22. They were trailing 2-12 after the first quarter. They held Bexley to 2 points in the second quarter. It was 10-14 at the half. The Vikes out scored Bexley 11-8 in the second half. Scoring for the Vikes were Kelsey Tosca with 8 pts., Abby Leatherwood with 6 pts,. Week of 12.8.03 8th: The Teays Valley Eighth Grade girls basketball team split the two games they played last week by defeating Fairfield Union at Fairfield Union by a score of 31-16 and losing to Circleville at home 38-15.  In the Fairfield Union game, Tifany Harmon led the Vikes with 17 points, followed by Allison Mays and Kristen Burkhardt with 4, Meghan Schiff with 3, Stephanie Lindeman with 2, and Kayla Brady with one.  In the Circleville game, the Vikings were led by Harmon with 5, Mays and Burkhardt with 4, and Heather Welsh and Lindeman with one point each. - Report by Robert Lombardo

Week of 12.08.03 7th: TVMS 36 Amanda 26.  TVMS 21 Fairfield Union 40.  TVMS lost to Circleville.  A note from Coach Knoblauch:  I am so very proud of how you girls played against Circleville. If you have learned anything from that game, I hope it is this: You are only as good as you believe to be. The second half of that game we realized that we could do it and there was nothing to be scared of. For now on we need to have that attitude from the very beginning so we don't look back and say.....only if!!
