The Vikings had there four game win streak snapped Friday in a tough loss to the Aces. The Viking offense struggled in the game by turning the football over seven times. Nobody will ever win a football game when you do not take care of the ball. The defense also gave up a season high in points. Even though we suffered a set back the season is not a loss. We still have one game left on the schedule, we travel to Hamilton Township this week to take on the Rangers. With a win the Vikings still have an outside shot at making the Division II playoffs. Right now the only thing we can do is focus on the Vikings and take care of the Rangers. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Vikings last week. A great win over Circleville. Very good Defensive game by only giving up 7 points. Touchdowns scored by Zach Zace, Colton Foreman and Jake Pontius. Alot of credit is given to the offensive line for opening big holes for the running backs. Colten Foreman finished the game with 252 yards.

2008-10-17Location: AwayTeays Valley: 34Amanda Clearcreek: 24

This win put the Vikings at 5 - 4 on the season. Alot of the credit goes to the Defense this week. This held one of the best running backs in the league to under his season average. Speaking of the best running back in the league, we may have him. Colton Foreman ran for 217 yards and broke the school rushing record friday night in 9 games. Colton would be the first one to say the credit should go to the Offensive line and Receivers. They have done a great job blocking at the line of scrimmage and down field all year.

The senoirs last home game is this friday vs. Hamilton Township.
