The JV golf team suffered only thier third loss of the season at Westchester Golf Course on Thursday. Even while posting the lowest team score of the year a 167, the Vikes were unable to overcome the Indians of Canal. The Vikes were lead by: Alex Ell = 38 Spencer Young = 40 Joe Dillon = 44 Adam Mckenzie = 45 Sean Flanery and Ryan Hart added 46 and 49 as well. The Vikes will continue the season next week while hosting Grove City at Foxfire.

The Viking reserve golf team continued its season today with a stellar victory over visiting Westfall. The Vikings were lead in this 18 hole match by Spencer Young and his 88, Adam Mckenzie's 94, AJ Cleary with 95 and first timer Freshman Sean Flanery with 101. The victoy imporved the vikes record to an overall 5-1 this season.

In the vikings final tune up before the County Championship the JV gold team took on Watkins Memorial at Foxfire Golf Club. Even after posting a season best 373 team score the vikes were nipped by a single stroke for only the teams second loss of the season. The vikings were lead by a pair of freshman, Cleary and Flanery and their 88 and 93. These golfers have become solid additions the team this season even as freshman. The team score was rounded out by Spencer Young and third freshman Joe Dillon both with 96. With this loss the vikes fall to 5-2.

The Teays Valley Vikings welcomed all schools in Pickaway County for the County Championship held at Foxfire. With a team score of 188 the Home team was able to bring home the county championship over rivals Circleville, Logan Elm and Westfall. Scoring was lead by AJ Cleary with 42, Spencer Young with 45, Sean Flanery with 49 and Adam Mckenzie with 52. Great work and congrats to all members of the team for this hard-earned victory. The Vikes will take their 8-2 record to Canal this thursday for the premier showdown in MSL JV ranks.

The TV reserve golf team began the season with a strong pre-season finish at Foxfire golf club. The Vinkings finished second to Canal with a team score of 386. This puts the vikings record at 4-1 to start the 2005 campaign. This finsih also leaves them with a strong opportunity to capture the league title once again. The JV was lead by Alex Ell with a 91, Spencer Young with a 92, Adam Mckenzie with a 101 and rounding out the low four scores was Freshman AJ Cleary with 104.

The Vikes were back at the golf Course Monday for a non-league match with the Greyhounds of Grove City. The JV's were able to get back to their winning ways again by posting a convincing victory against the dogs on their home course. The Vikings were lead by: Alex Ell = 39 AJ Cleary = 48 Adam Mckenzie = 51 Reed Strawser = 51 Sean Flanery = 51 and Joe Dillon = 52. The vikings will again play host in their next match when MSL opponent Fairfield Union visits Foxfire next week.

The Viking Golf team put another notch in the win column on tuesday with a not-so-pretty victory against Fairfield. The vikings could only muster a 191 at their home field. However that was just enough to best the Falcons by 9 strokes. The vikings put up a solid performance for the third time this week posting a 173. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TEAYS VALLEY JV GOLF TEAM!!!!!! The JV Vikes completed the sweep of the MSL yesterday at Deer Creek by following the Varsity's league championship with one of their own. This makes the second year in a row that the JV's were able to accomplish this feat, this year going 17-1! The Vikings were lead by Ryan Hart's 83 which also won him Medalist honors for the JV's. Ryan was followed closely by Joe DIllon's 84, and McKenzie Coe's 89. The vikings final score came from Zach Loveless's 93. Also competing for the vikings yesterday were Mark Dixon and Sean Flanery. Way to go Vikings!!

The JV Vikings traveled to Deer Creek yesterday with one goal in mind, win the MSL. The Vikings accomplished that goal yesterday by winning the tournament by 10 strokes over Fairfield Union. Connor Spradling took the tournament medalist by firing an 82. Phil Cleary scored an 85, Tyler Welsh 87, and Michael Corbett 90.  Barry Ranft shot a 91 and Brandon Sethna 97. The Vikings have a lot to be proud of this year. They have an overall record of 26-5, and a MSL Championship to back it up. Saturday the Vikings will be traveling to Granville at 1:00 for a 5 man invitational. Good luck to the Vikings, and Great Job on accomplishing your goals.

Today the JV Vikings took first place in the Teays Valley Invitational at Homestead Springs Golf Course.  The Vikings shot  a 350 taking first place by 13 strokes over Canal Winchester.  Leading the way for the Vikings was co-medalist Phil Cleary (82).  Other scores were Tanner Kershner (86), Kyle Barnett (90), Max Samlow and Clayton Schneider (92), and Tyler Davis (103).  Great job today guys.  The Vikings are back in action on Wednesday at Foxfire.

Last night the Reserve Vikings shot a 193 on the front side at Foxfire Golf Course.  The Vikings were led by Max Samlow at 46, Austin King, Ian Pritchard and Clayton Schnieder shot 49, Kyle Barnett 50 and Tyler Davis 58. Bloom only fielded two golfers therefore lost the match.  

The Vikings are now 6-1 in league play, and look to continue improving their record as they take on Circleville on Tuesday.

The Vikings traveled to Pickaway Country Clubs tonight to take on Circleville in the second dual match of the season.  The Vikings were victorious again as they beat the Tigers 184 to 201.  Match Medalist Brandon Sethna led the way for the Vikings as he shot a very good round of 43.  Tanner Kerschner shot 45, Clayton Schneider shot 46, and Max Samlow recorded a 50.  The Vikings are now 8-1 in league play and have a non-league match Thursday against Hilliard.
