The boys team finished second at the Ashville Kiwanis Invitational on Friday Night. Individual Champions were Kendall Clark in the 400m Dash, Zane Grabans in the 300 Hurdles, Taylor Conn in the 3200, the 4x800m relay team of Tyler Conn, Taylor Conn, Dominic Koah, and Zane Grabans, and the 4x400m relay team of Tyler Conn, Brenden Niezgoda, Zane Grabans, and Michael Hutter. The Teays Valley track and field team competeted in the Stingel Invitational at Pickerington North High School on Saturday. We finished fourth with 62 points in the 14 team invitational. We had a nice day with a lot of personal best performances. The 4x200 team of Chris Hemming, Eric Matyas, Billy Hodge, and Efe Aydinoglu had a personal best by 4 seconds. Tyler Conn had a personal best split for the 4x800 relay, as well as personal best times in the 1600 and 3200. Dominic Koah had a career best run in the 300 hurdles in his first return to the race this season. Placers for the meet are listed below. Complete results can be found on www.baumspage.com

Stingel Invitational on Saturday
The team finished second at the Anthony Wilson Track Invitational at Franklin Heights on Saturday. The meet was a close competition throughout the day with five different teams in the hunt for the win after fourteen of the sixteen events were completed. The final event determined the order of the top three teams with our team finishing second with a ½ point lead over Groveport Madison. First place finishers were Robby Spencer in the Discus and the 4x800 meter relay team of Pete Freeman, Tyler Conn, Brenden Niezgoda, and Taylor Conn.

With a completely different 4x800m relay team as well as several other athletes who had not competed Friday night, the team finished third in the eleven team Kallner Invitational at Hamilton Township on Saturday. The meet started with the 4x800m relay team consisting of Zach Race, Grant Zwayer, Zane Grabans, and Brenden Niezgoda finishing taking the First place finish. Other medalists on the day consisted of: Jake Zwayer with a 3rd in the Discus, Dominic Koah with a 1st in Pole Vault, Zach Race with a 1st in the 800m Run, and Taylor Conn with a 1st place 1600m Run and a 2nd in the 3200m Run.
On Friday night, we hosted the 20th Annual Ashville Kiwanis Invitational. The six team meet, which only permits one entry per running event as well as combined scores in field events, was highly competitive. The team finished second behind Big Walnut. First place finishers were: Robby Spencer and Jake Zwayer in Discus, Derrick Taylor in the 100m Dash, Kendall Clark in the 400m Dash, Pete Freeman in the 800m Run, and the 4x800 meter relay team of Pete Freeman, Chris Varian, Tyler Conn, and Taylor Conn.
The team finished 8th out of 16 teams Saturday at the Stingel Pickerington North Invitational. Several athletes had personal best performances including Tyler Conn, Taylor Conn, Grant Zwayer, and Derrick Taylor. Tyler and Taylor pulled the triple in distance events competing in the 4x800 meter relay, 1600 meter run, and 3200 meter run, taking a 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 8th place. The 4x400 meter relay team of Grant Zwayer, Zach Race, Pete Freeman, and Kendall Clark took an 8th place finish to anchor the meet. All four athletes competed in various events earlier in the day. Kendall competed in the 200 and 400 meter dashes. Zach also competed in the 400 as well as the 4x800 meter relay and high Jump. Zach finished sixth in high jump. Grant Competed in Long Jump and the 800 meter run, finishing 9th in the 800 with his best time ever. Pete also competed in the 800 finishing 3rd, High Jump, and the 4x800 meter relay team. Other placers on the day were Dominic Koah, Derrick Taylor, and Robby Spencer. Robby finished 3rd in the Discus. Derrick finished 8th in the 100 meter dash, and Dominic won the pole vault. Dominic tied for the field event most outstanding athlete at the meet.
On Saturday the team placed first out of eight teams at the Chillicothe Relays. All relay teams finished in the top three in their events. Fist Place finishes were the Shuttle Hurdle team of Tim McDonald, Zane Grabans, Dominic Koah, and Colton Foreman; The 4x800m Relay team of Tyler Conn, Taylor Conn, Brenden Niezgoda, and Grant Zwayer; and The Pole Vault team of Chris Hemming, David Eckel and Dominic Koah. Dominic broke the school record in pole vault with a vault of 13 feet 6 inches to win the meet. The previous record was 12 feet 9.5 inches. High School Girls
Lady Vikings had a good showing at the Cole McCafferty meet at Amanda on friday scoring 40 points good enough for eighth place, there we're 12 teams competing ,Morgan Crecelius placed 2nd in the shot put with a throw of 33'6",numerous girls also scored points for the vikings.Next meet at Hamilton on tuesday.
