The Vikings defeated Groveport in the second round of tournament play by scores of 25-8, 25-12, 19-25, and 25-11. Hitting the ball for the Vikings was Rachel Teets with 10 kills, Caitlin Cain 9 kills, Kelley Odle and Betsy Hayes each had 8 kills, and Jess Passen had 3 kills, and Emily Kauffeld had 2 kills, Shelby Battle and Cammi Prantl each with one kill. Jess Passen had 35 assists and 17 digs. Kelley Odle had 26 digs, Jordan Rasmussen had 18 digs, and Betsy Hayes had 17 digs. The ladies advance to the District Semi-final game Tuesday night at 6 p.m. against the number one seed Dublin Coffman in the Licking Hts. gym. Go Vikings!
The Vikings defeated Reynoldsburg in a first round tournament game by scores of 25-19, 25-15, and 25-21. The ladies came out serving aggressively and hit well throughout the night to keep Reynoldsburg out of sync. Kelley Odle had ten kills while Caitlin Cain contributed 9 kills off of Jess Passen's 24 assists. Betsy Hayes and Emily Kauffeld each had 4 kills. Defensively Jordan Rasmussen and Tricia Dresbach led with 10 and 8 digs respectively. Jess Passen, Caitlin Cain and Kelley Odle each had 7 digs. The ladies continue in tournament action facing Groveport at 4 p.m. Saturday Oct. 24 at East High School. Way to go Vikings!
The Vikings traveled to Pick North to finish their regular season. Their first match was against Pickerinton North, falling short 25-12, 26-24. They were then defeated by New Breman 9-25, 25-18, 22-25. In their final match of the day they were defeated by Olentangy 25-17 and 25-20. The Vikings start tournament action Wednesday Oct 21 against Reynoldsburg at East High School at 7:30 p.m.
The ladies defeated Fairfield by score of 25-19, 25-17, 13-25, and 25-22. It was an exciting finish with some big plays at the end of the game. Everyone contributed to the win and played hard in the game.
The Vikings were defeated in another tough league opponent. Scores were 25-12, 25-20, and 25-16. The ladies take on Fairfield Union in their last league game of the season Thursday night. Go Vikings!
The Vikings were defeated by Logan Elm by scores of 25-9, 25-12, and 25-15.
The Vikings were defeated by Amanda by score of 25-20, 26-24 and 25-14. The ladies played well in the first two games before falling short and just couldn't get any momentum in the third game.
The Vikings defeated Circleville with a great team effort. Everyone played a role in the victory and came out ready to play. Scores were 25-17, 20-25, 25-19, and 25-12.
The Vikings were defeated by Hamilton by scores of 25-19, 25-23, and 2514.
The Vikings got back on track with a big win over Fairfield. Scores were 25-21, 26-24, and 25-5. The ladies are now 5-5 overall and 2-5 in the league, ready to start the second round.
The Vikings traveled to Westfall for a tri match and came away with two wins. They defeated Westfall 25-18 and 25-15 in the opening game. In the second game they defeated Bexley by scores of 25-23 and 25-10.
The Vikings were not able to contain the BC attack and lost 25-21, 25-19 and 25-18. They are now 7-6 overall and 2-6 in the league.
The Vikings were defeated by a talented Logan Elm team by scores of 25-13, 25-10, and 2517.
The Vikings were defeated by Canal Winchester. Scores were 25-17, 25-20 and 25-17. The ladies fought hard all night but couln't get enough going to score against Canal's tough defense.

Teays Valley defeated the Tigers by scores of 27-25, 25-22, and 25-20. The Vikings played well together to overcome in all three games. Caitlin Cain and Emily Kauffeld worked hard on improving their block this week and both had some positive touches tonight in the match. Kelley Odle came out hitting strong tonight with 10 kills. Jordan Rasmussen and Tricia Dresbach played solid defensive games, and Allie Holstien came in to add to the defensive effort. Betsy Hayes, Jordan Rasmussen and Jess Passen led in the ace department. Jess Passen led the offense with 17 assists and Caitlin Cain added 8 kills, Rachel Teets and Emily Kauffeld each had 2 kills. The Vikings are taking the floor each game playing hard and working to improve, they are playing together well, with everyone accepting their role and making a positive impact in the game. Keep up the good work ladies! The Vikings are 4-1 overall and 1-1 in league play.
The Vikings defeated Jerome to up their record to 3-0. The scores of the games were 25-17, 25-23, 24-26, 25-15. The Vikings played a smart game offensively with many well places attacks to keep the Celtics guessing on defense. The ladies also served aggressively. Great start ladies keep working.
The Vikings lost to the Bulldogs by scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-18, 25-16. The ladies played hard in a tough loss. The Vikings are now 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the league.
The Lady Vikings defeated Whetstone by scores of 25-7, 25-15. It was a good opener for the Vikings. Caitlin Cain and Kelley Odle each had 3 kills, Rachel Teets had 2 kills and Jess Passen set 5 assists. Kelley Odle had 6 service aces.
The second game of the day was against Pickerington Central. The Vikings defeated the Tigers by scores of 25-11 and 25-21. The Vikings took a commanding lead early in both games. Kelley Odle, Caitlin Cain, and Betsy Hayes each had 4 kills, and Emily Kauffeld had 3 kills. Betsy Hayes had 6 digs and Jordan Rasmussen had 4 digs. Jess Passen had 10 assists. Kelley Odle and Jordan Rasmussen both had good serving games and Tricia Dresbach played with alot of hustle in the back row.
The Vikings defeated Bloom Carroll last night by scores of 25-18, 25-23, 15-25, and 25-22. It was good win for everyone. Jennifer Adkins and Mariah Accord both played a good floor game and hit strong, Jessica Passen and Alex Graves got in sync and each had a good offensive night, Kristy Moore served well and had a good defensive effort, Kala Schiff and Morgan Crecelius both had some big offensive plays, and Betsy Hayes had a good defesive game. The ladies improved their record to 8-7 and play at Amanda on Thursday Oct. 2.
The Vikings defeated Westfall and Bexley both in two straight games on Saturday. The scores for the Westfall games were 25-14 and 25-20. The Vikings then went on to defeat the Lions from Bexley by scores of 25-19 and 25-21. Everyone contributed to the victory and the ladies improved their overall record to 7 and 7. Their next game will be at Bloom Carroll on Tuesday Sept. 30.
The Vikings fell to Logan Elm by scores of 11-25, 25-27, and 16-25.
The Vikings dropped three straight games to Canal 25-18, 25-18, 25-18. They are back in action Thursday at home against Logan Elm.

The ladies played hard all night but showed alot of heart in the fourth game to come from behind and win the game. Mariah Acord, Alex Graves and Kala Schiff led the Vikings at the net, while Jennifer Adkins and Kelley Odle came up with some big serves throughout the match.
The Vikings defeated the Rangers by scores of 25-20, 25-18, 19-25, and 25-22. It was a needed win for the Vikings. Mariah Acord, Morgan Crecelius, Alex Graves, and Kala Schiff all had a good night at the net. Jessica Passen led the offense at the setter position. Kelley Odle, Jennifer Adkins, Kristy Moore, and Jordan Rasmussen all had good defensive efforts. Good Job Vikings!!
Teays Valley came out strong in the first game to defeat Amanda 25-15, and then lost momentum to be defeated the next three games 16-25, 15-25, 21-25. It was a tough loss. Morgan Crecelius had a good game at the net, Alex Graves gave a strong serving performance in the fourth game to make a run on the Aces. Kelley Odle and Caitlin Cain both came in off the bench with strong performances.

The Braves then won the fourth game 25-21and won the fifth 15-8. It was an exciting game, with both teams playing hard. The Vikings dropped to 0-2 in the league and 2-3 overall.

The Vikings lost their opener by scores of 25-14, 25-19, 24-26, & 25-20. A slow start put us down 2-0, but we rallied back to take game 3 and played hard in game four. Alex Graves led the way offensively at the net, Kristy Moore had some key serves, Kelley Odle came off the bench with a good defensive effort, Jessica Passen and Kelsey Price played nice floor games with some good hustle plays. The 8th grade volleyball team (0-1) opened their season against Canal Winchester on August 25. The girls played very well and fought back after dropping the first game 17-25. Thanks to excellent serving and defense in the second game, the Vikings were able to fight back and win the second game 25-22. After a long, hard-fought battle the Indians came back to get the victory in the final game 21-25. The Lady Vikings next game is Thursday, August 28 with 7th grade beginning at 5:00. 7th Grade

Service points were scored by: Gabby Gregg served for 14 points, Darby Martin with 12 points, Allie Cartwright with 2 points, and Lily Painter, Maddy Branch, Kara Stemen, Sara Nida, and Ashley Fortner with 1 point.
